Mammoth Cave written by Horace C. Hovey. The book was published by Robert Clarke & Co. and this copy belonged to E.H.Foster who was principal of Glendale School c.1898. The book was purchased for a trip made in 1870 according to information from the donor, Mr. Foster's grandson, Thomas Butterworth Foster, Jr. The book contains a handwritten itinery for the trip and a handdrawn map both presumably done by Mr. Foster.
