Set of documents by Bill James Cook regarding the Holy Rood Catholic Cemetery. This was the burying ground for the parish of St. Gabriel. Most of the remains were located to Oak Hill Cemetery beginning in the 1920s. Some remains were left buried. By 1982 only three stones remained: a large monument where the members of the Logan family were buried, a large stone with the name Costello and a tiny stone for an infant, Frances Dollman.
Documents include a list of all the people who were moved to Oak Hill Cemetery and their date of death and in some cases age at death, as well as a list of parishioners who died between 1887 and 1913 who were not buried in this cemetery.
