The address of this house, now 6 Hetherington Ct., was originally 190 Coral Avenue as it was the residence of the Thomas H. Carruthers III family. It is thought that it was originally a hunting lodge. The area originally may have been called Shoemaker's Woods.The Carruthers family managed a large farm and also raised dogs under the name of Peaceville Kennels.
