Scope and Content

Handwritten notes by Roland Richardson describing his experiences piloting Spad XIII fighter airplanes during WW1. The notes were donated by Hugh Garvin. Included in the same notebook is a copy of the article "An Air Service Pilot In France" which was published in the January/February 1993 issue of Timeline, a publication of the Ohio Historical Society. It includes many photographs and information about Roland Richardson and his family.
