White Pique Tea Party Dress

Description

Long dress cotton - white heavy pique with4" lace stand-up collar with stays. White coronation cord in tapered panels from shoulder to 6" below waistline. Coronation cord edged with embroidered chain stitching. Tailored sleeve with 14" and coronation cording around 2" cuff with lace ruffle. Front Irish lace insert dickey. Pique has embroidered satin stitch leaf pattern. Center back 22 hook and eyes plus collar has 8 hook eyes. Inverted pleats 1-3/8" up and over shoulder. Wider (1-7/8") at shoulder. Mrs. Woodrow Wilson type with large hat. 1" cotton twill waistband hasbodice attached on top. Skirt length 38-1/2". Skirt has repeat of leaf pattern. Satin stitched begins at center front 10" below waistline and circular skirt, hem with embroidery 15" from bottom except from center front 2-1/2" hem; hand stitched.
