Embroidered: pocket knife on maroon hand scythe maroon velvet base fabric pink satin double silver edge beading outlines scythe key, envelope, red velvet heart, artist palette, keyhole, button hook pair of pliers, cup and saucer, fiddleback spoon, hairpin horseshoe has double row of bronze beads outline heart, club are outlined in featherstitch additional artist palette appliquéd fan of different pieced silks and satins green worm, hairpin, March 1890 embroidered carpet tack remover, appliquéd shield (heart shaped). Hand Painted: gold bird on branch (fabric maroon color) 2 wild roses panels: bunch of cherries with leaves; daisy chain painted on silk black person with newspaper under arm and newspaper held in extended forward arm under figure is a green ski shape area. Printed Inserts: Regatta, trademark registered; Chicago scene - Illinois State Industrial Exposition (picture of expo building with 3 domes with flag American, Illinois, Expo flying) Chicago 1886 printed on fabric insert.
