Brown Batiste Dress, Long Skirt

Description

Brown cotton square neckline dress with decorative bodice of matching color of matching bands and 6 white satin stitched flowers giving an embroidered trim. A 'V' off of each shoulder and ending at waistline in a large 7 flowered medallion at center back. Center bodice repeats 'V' at shoulder line and in the center is a circle of 6 flowers at waistline area. Short sleeve with band of flowers 1-1/2" in width same as decorative 'V' and has 3 circles of 6 flowers. Underarm seam is 4-1/2". Waistband attaching bodice to skirt is 1-3/8" wide. There are 22 sewn down pleats from waistline 9" down skirt except for 2 off center front which makes a decorative panel at center front. 27" from lower waistband and bottom edge is 6-1/4" and at waistband is 3-1/2" wide. It's folded back stitching panel to skirt. Circumference 120". 4" hem machine stitched and 4" height design repeated - second rondel 2" and next one 1-1/2. Center back close 24" in length and 18 hooks with thread loops. With self hem of 1-1/4" on shoulder - and extends over satin sleeve making a wider shoulder look.
