Description

Sheath dress pink chambray afternoon tea dress 45" in length 35" waistline raglan sleeve short 4" in length with 3 sets of ruffles and 3 inserts of open thread work. Attached ruffles 7/8" in length and are machine stitched less than an 1/8" apart making horizontal tuck. The following tiers are an inch in width. Outer edge of sleeve is a double ruffle. The widest is 2" the narrow one is 7/8". Jewel neckline with white double edged ruffle, the top one is 1" in width and bottom one is 1" also and attached halfway under neckline and attaches to under portion of top ruffle. 1/8" self pink piping on shoulder line. Center back placket close has white 1/8" bias rolled edge and 7/8" from placket edge is open thread work 1/8" wide outlining the placket. Thus making a rectangular design at center back closing. Two thread medallions at each lower corner of thread work. One button hole hand made on each side of placket. Additional decoration repeats on the hipline and lower bodice above waistline. Open thread work with first ruffles begin 4" above waistline. 3" below first thread work is second thread work and ruffle. At waistline is thread work with gathered chambray for shaping on the waist. Just off center front it is 10-3/4" long with 5-1/2" ruffle to front of dress. There are 5 additional ruffles gradually getting larger and the lower one is 18-1/2" in length. Hem is 3" self hem with thread work just above hem and 2" above is additional thread work with ruffle. 3 tucks center back at waistline on both sides center front.
