Pink Silk Infant Cap with Chin Ties

Description

Baby's Bonnet (cap) Salmon pink silk infant cap hand running stitch design on simple square cap. The length from corner to corner is 10" and the back of cap is 7-3/8" from tie edge to tie edge. Silk ties are frayed and original length 10" and the other 4". The running stitch is a cotton thread and 1/8" of edges of cap from front over crown 7/8" from edge and second row repeating. At center back is a circle that is 2-3/8" wide and has running stitch which holds the gathered front of cap creating and shaping. Balloon edge is slight curve on side and center back accented by running stitch. It is self lined and is in good condition. Some deterioration on right corner of cap and ribbon is frayed.
