Grey Silk Wedding DressDescription
Grey silk wedding dress with jeweled fitted bodice and gored bustled skirt. There are five gores in skirt. 26-1/2" waistline bound with 1/2" white silk ribbon with one black hook and eye and the two black hooks 2" from center back on waistline attached to bodice and skirt. Front gore is 7-3/8" wide at waistline and 41" long on both sides and at hemline 22" wide. Left side gore is 6-5/8" at waistband and 41" long and 32-3/4" wide at hemline. Bustled section at center back: placket close 6-3/8" long and 1-1/2" wide. Bustle is gathered at waist in two sections, each one gathered to 3" wide. The total bustle area is 6" of gathered bustle section of back gore and the back gore is 41" long. The hem is 30" at center back gore. Side gore, right hip, is 32" wide at hem and 7" at waistline and 41" long. The edge of hem is cotton velvet turned back and attached to under side of heavy glazed canvas and is 11-3/8" wide. Additional lining of upper skirt is light tan cotton. Seams are all overcast. Underlining is sewn in one piece construction. On back gore under side attached to side seam is fabric tab 14-1/2" from hemline. This tab is 10-1/2" long and 1/4" wide and attaches to other back gore seam and again 14-1/2" from hemline.
