White Organdy Vest with Machine EmbroideryDescription
Woman's white organdy vest; 9" width with 19-1/2" length. Design: Drawn work has slight V shape at top, same decoration at bottom of vest except it is turned upside down so point faces to top while point at neckline points down in design; 2" wide fabric loop circles neck; its sewn on right side while there are two snaps on left front of vest. At waistline is 1/8" elastic band which fastens on left side with one snap; elastic stretches around back of wearer. Design at waistline is a rectangle outline with 1" width with length crossing the vest horizontal - it is created by white thread drawn work; inside the rectangle are small satin stitched dots - hem is turned inside as there is a second layer or organdy: outside edge is over-cast stitched by hand.
