Yellow Printed Day Dress

Description

One yellow floral printed full length cotton summer sheath dress with short puffed sleeves with 4" gathering on back of sleeve where outer seam would be - hem on sleeves is rolled 3/8" - hemmed and top stitched to outer sleeves. Five pleats on sleeve cap. Neckline is a square slight "V" center front. Four inch dropped shoulder 2-3/4" wide. Dropped waistline with gathering on hips and across back. Center front panel is 7" at neckline and 5" at waist. A bust-line dart seam extends from gathering at hemline to bust point and gathered in the bust area - smooth through torso line - very narrow top stitching - less than 1/8". Dress back has center back seam, 19" long from neckline to gathering at hip line. 3-1/4" from either side of center back is a 9" seam dart. Left side opening of 12" has 3 snaps and 1 hook and eye. Skirt length is 36" with ruffled hem of 3/8" and top stitched and hand stitched a triangle gore located in center back 22" from them. There are two triangles of 16" width to the hem line. The triangle on left center of back has two pieces to create the 16" width to match the triangle on right center back with 16" triangle insert between. There are 6 gore panels in skirt and skirt is 206" in circumference.
