A) Long black collared shawl with silk fringe; 7-1/2" black fringe is hand knotted; 12" shawl collar length; 55" overall length; shoulder line/sleeve seam is 21" long; front left bodice panel has dart seam from neck; bottom of panel is 25" wide at hem, fringe additional, square. Same repeat on right front panel, each panel has a 'U' shape cut-out at arms placement; this center of 'U' has shoulder line/sleeve seams; the 'U' is below the elbow for draping over arm; 'U' has knotted silk fringe; front hook closing at shawl collar roll line.
Condition: good - needs cleaning and minor sewing repairs.
B) Black taffeta skirt with knotted 3" silk fringe coordinates with shawl; bustled skirt; gore shape; 3/4" waistband, 2 large hook and eyes on band and center of back placket opening; 12" below waist at center back is a diagonal seam 24" long with deep 9" width scallops (creates fullness at hemline); center back at waist has small pleats to form bustle; hemline has 10 large 9" scallops that form decorative fringed edge of skirt; 18" wide center front panel top and bottom length.
Condition: shredding at fold and seam lines; 2 scallops have weak spots - overall, fairly good. Old fold lines are splitting where fabric is weak.
