Description

Net Bedspread and Bolster: Bolster is 27" wide with 6" ruffle and 30-1/2" long. Border of white tape. Bedspread has 12-1/2" ruffle with border of white tape pointed edges. Both items have intricate designs in center with tape appliquéd in floral designs.

June 6, 1986: Received delivery by Sister Ellen Marie of convent of a donation from Emily Tyner, a package labeled BEDSPREAD, ABOUT 75 years old. Emily Tyner was told at the convent that the convent might offer it to GAHS (Glenview Area Historical Society). The convent determined there was no use for it there and brought it here.
