Lady's afternoon Tea Dress

Description

Sheer white organdy - has a gathered bodice at waistline, raglan sleeve, scooped neckline with lace trim 3/4" wide. Sleeve is 13-1/2" from edge of sleeve lace ruffle. 4" trim of lace 1/2" wide and 1-3/4" width of machine embroidery white on white and 5/8" lace sewn together with scalloped lace edging. The bodice has an insertion of lace and machine embroidery and lace, same as sleeve. It curves upward from side seams to center front and is 1-1/2" from scooped neckline and lace insertion at center front. Lace insertion continues around to the back. Back closing has 3 snaps and one hook and eye at the top. It has a placket close. Fine gathers at waistline all around skirt. A band of lace 8" from waist line 3/4" wide has daisy repeat. An inch apart is an additional daisy lace. Gathers are attached to the second band of lace. Organza is 5-1/4" wide and attaches to an additional daisy band of lace. 3-1/2" wide minute tucks perpendicular to the band of lace. Another daisy band at the bottom of the tucked fabric. Attached to lace band is 9-7/8" wide machine white embroidered on organza. This is done in bands of leaves and flowers and circle and finishes off with scalloped edge.
