Clock is detailed in the October-November 1977 "Historical Supplement No. 3", with a photo: "German Mantel [sic] Clock Also at the Center and also a gift of Mr. and Mrs. Ford is a black, marble mantle clock (above) with chimes, made in Germany and patented in 1870. This had belonged to Mrs. Carrie Egbert, Mr. Ford's grandmother and also of Martinsville, Ind." The 1977 supplement also details a Seth Thomas mantel clock that the Ford's donated, which belonged to Kenneth Ford's great-grandmother of Martinsville, IN.
