One World War I Army infantry uniform, owned by Elmer Clavey, consisting of:
(A) Khaki fitted jacket - size 38 - 2" stand-up collar with insignia on each side of collar reading US and MG --Jacket 25" long -- 5 buttons and button holes down front -- 2 pockets on each side of front measuring 8" x 7" with button down flaps on each. Sleeves are 24" long with 2 insignias on left sleeve.
(B) Legging type trousers with button fly front (5 buttons and 5 button holes). Trousers are 27" long and laced up from bottom about 8-1/2" -- extra reinforcement over knee area. Across shoulder from neck to sleeve a button down flap -- jacket is lined with cotton.
(C) Khaki colored cap.
(D) 2 pair woolen (leggings) puttees 8-1/2 feet long with tie 4-1/2 feet long -- puttee 4" wide (Elmer Clavey wore).
(E) Four pictures of Elmer Clavey and his group, especially the kitchen crew.
(F) Olive green socks.
