Description

Metal powder flask; design on front and back consists of bands with embossed circles. In the nineteenth century, powder flasks were used as containers for gunpowder; gunpowder was dispensed through the metal spout, known as the "charger" that appears at the end. Charger contains a lever for adjusting the strength of the powder charge.
