Description

The object is a bound book with a beige cover and offset lithographic pictorial images and text with a matte surface sheen. The cover title states: Canada's Favorite Cook Book - Three Books in Volume. The pictorial images include a figure of a woman wearing an apron and holding a serving platter with a steaming pot that is being heated by a flame. Adjacent to the women are images of a fish, lobster and steaming cauldron. The inside of the book states: By Mrs. Gregory and friends. Published by The Bradley-Garretson Co. Ltd. There is an inscription in pencil on the front flyleaf that state: Mrs. N Byce / Foresters Falls / Ap qute (?) / 1902.
