Description

The support is a beige paper tax form. It was issued to John A. Brown. Total taxes due listed as $14,396.00. The medium is a blank printed ink. The fields are filled in with a handwritten grey ink. Additional handwritten text appears in a brown and black ink. Title at the top center of the front, reads: "Demand for Payment of 1934 Taxes." A handwritten inscription occurs in brown ink on the front, situated at the bottom third, slightly to the proper right of center, which reads "This years taxes not due (illegible)(illegible)(illegible)(illegible)". A second inscription depicting mathematical calculations is rendered in handwritten black ink, this occurs on the proper left of the front in the bottom third . The name "R.M. HORNER" appears with the title 'Clerk Treasurer' at the front proper bottom right. The name "Russell J. Healey" appears with the title 'Collector' at the front proper bottom left. A third inscription featuring arithmetic appears at the center of the back, rendered in a handwritten black ink.
