Description

One paper greeting card with the message "All day long and all year through, Best of all the things I do, I like being friends with you." The card is decorated with the black and white drawing of a cherub holding a bow and arrow. The card originally would have been folded in two with a decorative front cover, which has been removed. Reverse of the card has a handwritten name, "Isobel C" and a makers mark, "Whitney Made Worcester Mass. Made in U.S.A."

Context

Valentine card given to Mary Gamble (Bee Griffith's sister) when she was a school teacher in Alberta.
