The front of the card is a raised image of a woman in a green dress, holding a brunch of clovers. There is a golden harp in the top right corner, its bow in the shape of a woman with wings. The harp is surrounded on by a bed of clovers. Above the woman there is golden text reading, 'Erin go Bragh.' Just below the woman's feet there is green text that reads, 'Tis a remembrance of flashing black eyes / Of Erin's green shores, and broken home ties. / A longing no foreign charm can allay / Comes back to my heart on St. Patrick's Day.' On the back the postcard is divided into two sections, the right specifies that it is for, 'This Space For Writing Messages.' The left side reads, 'Post Card' along the top in stylized font, then a square for the postcard in the corner. Inside the stamp box reads, 'Place stamp here / Domestic One cent / Foreign Two cents.'
