The front displays a coloured photo of a man and a woman standing together. The man is wearing a sailors outfit and is looking at the woman with his arm around her shoulders. Below this is a picture of Lily of the Valley, the name written beside the flower. "Return to Happiness," is written on a banner below this. On the back of the postcard is "Post Card" written along the top. The top left corner is a box for the stamp, which has been torn off. Behind the stamp is written, "Produced entirely in England." The postcard is divided into two sections, the left side specifies, "The address only to be written here." In ink someone has written, "Miss Myrtle Davis, Stapleton Ont. Can." On the right side is specified, "This space may be used for communication for inland post only." There are two cancellation stamps on this side, one from Fallowfield and one from Richmond dating the postcard to 1909.Lexicon
