The front of the postcard is a coloured image of the government driveway on the left and the Rideau canal along the right. There is a boat coming down the canal, and houses in the background. On the back there are two cancellation stamps, one from Richmond and one from Fallowfeild, both dated November 16, 1908. In the middle of the address there is another cancellation stamp from Stapledon dated November 17, 1908. There is no stamp. It is addressed to Miss Myrtle Davis, Stapledon Ontario. The message reads, "Hello Myrtle, The card you sent Ida was lovely. I suppose you have a lot now. We are all well. I'll have to quit now for want of space. Yours, Sadie."Lexicon
