On the front there is a coloured image of Rideau Street. There are many people walking around and a horse drawn carriage on one side of the road. Telephone poles line the street. On the back there are three cancellation stamps, although only two are fully legible. One is from Ottawa and is dated October 3, 2pm, 1907. Another is from Richmond and is dated October 4, 1907. The third might be from Stapledon, only the -DON is clear, and is dated October 5, 1907. There is a green one cent George V postage stamp. It is addressed to Miss Myrtle Davis, Stapledon Ont. The message reads: Dear Myrtle, You will recognize this scene I am sure. Write soon, remember you owe me a letter. Yours affectionately, LM.
