Description

This object is a Christmas card and an accompanying envelope. The support of the card is a cream colored card paper that has been folded in four equal sized rectangular segments. The front of the card contains blue and white tones and the phrase "Season's Greetings" at the top, centered. The front of the card contains an arched window shape at the center with the top coming to a point. Around the window shape are: a depiction of three shepherds with crooks at the proper top right, a five pointed star, white with 8 rays at the proper top left, a book with three candles at the proper bottom left, and a candle in a holder surrounded by leaves in the proper bottom right. The window is surrounded by a white interlinked pattern. The interior of the window depicts a winter scene with two birch trees and a stream in the foreground, and a red house amidst a forest with smoke issuing from the chimney. The interior of the card features a winter scene on the reverse of the front page. This scene depicts a winter scene with six trees and a stream in the foreground with the upper half of a house depicted in the background. The house is red and the windows are yellow. Behind the house are green trees. The interior of the card on the reverse of the back features a message printed in black ink which reads "To wish you lasting gladness as Christmas time draws near To hope that every day to come Holds some new joy and cheer, May the New Year bring true happiness In everything you do For nothing less than happiness Is good enough for you!". The number "25" is written on the proper bottom left of the interior. The back of the card features a company logo at the bottom center in the shape of a diamond. This reads "Diamond Line, Made in U.S.A. Trademark, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 25x912". The accompanying envelope is cream colored. It is completely blank and has no annotations
