This object is a Christmas card with an accompanying envelope. The support of the card is a cream colored paper. The support has been folded twice to form four equal sized rectangles. The front of the card features the words "CHRISTMAS GREETINGS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR" printed at the top, centered, in black ink. There is a red bow made of fabric in the center of the card slightly oriented towards the bottom. The center of card features a half circle with the straight side oriented towards the bottom of the card. The half circle is bordered in a lustrous gold foil material. There is an image of a winter scene in the circle; this displays a yellow and blue house with three evergreen trees. The half circle is surrounded by grey stylized Holly leaf motifs with red berries; this also occurs in a horizontal alignment at the bottom. The interior of the card features a red and black candle surrounded by the holly motif on the reverse of the front at center. The holly leaves adjacent to the candles are rendered in colour. The interior at the reverse back features a printed message in black ink "There's a certain charm to old things Never found in something new Which is why this Christmas greeting Brings the old, old wish to you! Merry Christmas". The words 'old things' and 'Merry Christmas" are rendered in cursive. The grey Holly motif with red berries appears at the proper top left. The back of the card features a company logo at the bottom center in the shape of a diamond. This reads "Diamond Line, Made in U.S.A. Trademark, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 25x912". The accompanying envelope is cream colored. It is completely blank and has no annotations.Context
