Description

This object is a land grant from the Canadian Crown Authority to William Irwin. It concerns a parcel of 80 acres of land in Goulbourn. It is dated December 21, 1892. The support is a somewhat stiff cream colored paper with a waxy texture. The support is very elastic and springs back into its folded form if not held open. The visible mediums are a printed black ink, as well as a handwritten black ink which is rendered in cursive. There is a large seal visible through the support. The seal is a blue octagon with a red circle contained within; it is 10cm x 10cm.
