Description

Clear green uranium glass serving bowl. Bowl has a flat rim decorated with a three-dimensional repeating floral pattern around its circumference. The main body of the bowl is decorated with a floral motif comprised of different leaves. The bowl is supported by three legs made of the same material as the bowl. The legs have a rectangular shape with a line impression design. The green colour of this glass is due to uranium content. Included in photographs is the artefact fluorescing under black light to positively indicate presence of uranium.
