Description

This item is a metal golden framed proclamation from Queen Elizabeth the Second. The proclamation is written in English (on the left side of the frame) and French (on the right side of the frame) in three coloured font; gold yellow, red and black. In the middle of the frame, along the top edge is a coloured insignia of the Royal coat of arms. Under this is the signature of Queen Elizabeth the Second. In the bottom left corner is a silver coloured round image of a wax seal representing Queen Elizabeth the Second. In the bottom right corner of the item is a metal gold name plate with the words etched in, "presented to Township of Goulbourn. Police Week 1983 O.P.P. Ottawa/Kanata." The reversed side of the item shows a cardboard backing under the metal frame. On the sides of the frame is the metal clasps that hold a thin metal wire, running horizontal of the frame, that holds the item up on walls and surfaces.
