Description

This item is a rectangular metal framed commemorative certificate celebrating the Goulbourn Township volunteers during the ice storm. At the top of this framed item is a coloured coat of arms of Ontario. Under this is the typed words in English and French (under the English font) of thanks and recognition towards the Volunteers of Goulbourn Township for their assistance in the Ice Storm of 1998. At the bottom of the item is the signature of the premier of Ontario - The Honourable Michael D. Harris. The reversed side of the item shows a cardboard backing under the metal frame. On both sides of the frame is the hardware that holds the thin metal wire that runs horizontally across the frame to support it on the wall when hung. In the bottom right corner of the reversed side of the frame is a white rectangular label depicting "Custom Framing & Framed Prints - Gallery Boutique."
