Description

This rectangular frame contains an off-white piece of paper with the heading "Goulbourn Township." The document text is written in a blue coloured ink and in a style that appears to be handwritten calligraphy. The document text is as follows; "Goulbourn Township. Situated in the heart of Carleton County it has been in existence since the early 1800's. The Township of Goulbourn was incorporated as a municipality in 1850 serving both urban and rural areas in the years before the amalgamation of Richmond and Stittsville in 1974. Goulbourn is bounded by the municipalities of Nepean, Kanata, West Carleton, Beckwith & Rideau Townships and is now servicing major urbanized parts of the Municipality."
