The Independent Order of Foresters organization member identification badge. The front of the badge is comprised of a vertical rectangular shaped ribbon which is broken into three equal bars arranged from left to right as red, white, and blue. The top of the badge has a horizontal decorative bar with text that reads, "Court Stittsville No. 3373, I.O.F." Below this attached by three metal chain links is a rectangular bar with the word "MEMBER" in black block text. Below the second bar and attached by five metal chain links on the left and right sides is a circular medallion. The central medallion has a decorative border, a central circle featuring organizational iconography. Below the three components at the top of the badge, written in a silver metallic print is, "COURT STITTSVILLE NO. 3373, I.O.F. Stittsville, ONT." The rectangular badge is bordered along the two side and bottom edges with a metallic thread. The bottom of the badge has metal fringe in a brass colour. The reverse of the badge is comprised of a black coloured vertical rectangle with no decoration in the upper half and silver metalic block text on the bottom half of the design. The text reads, "COURT STITTSVILLE NO. 3373 I.O.F. STITTSVILLE, ONT." The reverse of the top bar includes a pin to attach to the wearer.Context
