Description

This object is an abstract of title documenting historic land ownership. The parcel of land was unable to be fully determined at this time as the document was not able to be opened fully; however, the designation Lot 23 is visible. Visible names include: Ezekiel Cole, Jackson Stitt, William Alexander, Daniel Fisher, Andrew Alexander, Kenneth M. and John Hodgins. The support is a cream colored paper. The medium is a black printed ink. A brown ink has been used to fill in the fields in a cursive handwritten script. An inscription reading "1824" is rendered in pencil. Red ink has been used for administrative purposes. The vertical lines of the table are rendered in a red ink, and are themselves comprised of two small parallel red lines. The horizontal lines of the table are severely faded to the point of invisibility in places. Five vertical lines are visible through the page at the bottom of the back; they assume a sinusoidal form aka wiggly shaped.
