Description

This object is a handwritten copy of an affidavit by James Copeland documenting a land deed transfer as part of an inheritance. The plot of land is designated as W1/2 Lot 16 Concession 3. The support is a cream colored piece of lined paper. The lines are rendered in a faint blue ink. The medium is a handwritten black ink rendered in cursive. The words "Province of Canada" appear at the proper right top corner of the front. This object was intended to be folded for transportation and storage; as a result the title of the document is located on the back located at the proper right side of the page along a vertical alignment.
