This ceramic insulator has a rounded top that has CPR stamped on the surface, the insulator is white in colour but has some black and white discolouring as well as chips along the bottom rim. It is a CPR Porcelain Electrical Insulator - from the Canadian Pacific Railway Co.

Context

The insulator was donated by Boyd Farms a historic site in the Goulburn region that has been around since 1872.
