Under, in caps, you can read "Mary, John, and Peter" stamped in black ink. There is a triangular motif that appears to be a paisley pattern. There is a lot of wear on the corners and the spine. It is 112 pages long, containing short reading lessons, poems, and memorization exercises. there are many coloured photographs inside. the inside covers are filled with a pictorial glossary of the key terms in the reading lessons.
