Description

Sterling silver screw post pin consisting of a shield with three maple leafs joined by a single stem, with a crown above and a scroll below that reads: "General Service." Duff, Canada's Administrator in Council, in 1940 for members of the military, air force, and navy who had been honourably discharged from service. The reverse contains a serial number (399443) and text that reads: "PENALTY FOR MISSUSE 500 DOLLARS OR SIX MONTHS IMPRISONMENT."
