Description

This object is a snow sled made of metal and wood. The metal is moderately-severely rusted. The wood is lacquered and tan in colour. The skates of the sled and its frame are made of metal to which a wooden seat/platform is affixed towards the rear, and a handlebar at the front. The platform is constructed of two horizontal pieces of wood affixed to the metal frame, on top which are overlain 2 vertical facing sideboards on each side of the exterior as well as three flat panels which comprise the central body. The exterior two slats of the central body contain a mirrored decorative element rendered in a grey medium. These present as two lines which narrow in thickness from back to the front, extending towards the front of the sled; at the front of the panels at the terminus of the lines is a single circle, roughly resembling a clock. The front handlebar is made of one piece of wood. It is oriented horizontally and is attached directly to the metal frame by two silver colored bolts. Two black marks on either side of the center are likely indicative of handgrips. There are two small holes drilled vertically through the handlebars, one at each side. A yellow rope is anchored to each of these holes on each end creating a handle with which to pull the sled.
