Description

This object is a letter holder made from a black colored metal. It features two side brackets containing a crown motif within a circle under which the word "CROWN" is rendered in black metal. Two curved legs extend from the bottom of each bracket. A coiled spring of black metal separates the two brackets. The size of the spaces between individual coils varies to allow different sized of objects to be held under the proper tension. Letters and other paper media could be placed in these where they would then be separated from the neighboring media by a single coil of metal. A series of four black metal rods connect the brackets on their lower portions and hold the coil in place. These bars also provide a support at the bottom on which letters could rest. The screws affixing the outer two rods to the brackets are visible to either side of the word "CROWN".
