This is a clear glass purple electrical insulator that has diamond-shaped makers mark close to the bottom. This maker's mark and its jagged shape indicate it was made by Diamond Glass Company before the company become the Dominion Glass Company. the mould number is CD 102.

Context

The insulator was donated from Boyd's Farm a historic site within the Goulburn region since 1872.
