The form, completed in black ink, reads: "Municipality of Goulbourn, You are hereby notified that the Engineer appointed for the purpose did on the Nineth day of September 1929 file at my office his report respecting the W. Cathcart Award ditch The estimated cost of said drainage work is $15.00. The assessment against your lands mentioned in the report is $3.75...The Council of the said Municipality will meet at Stanleys Corners on the 30th day of September 1929 when the said report will be read and considered.
