Description

Rectangular jewellery box made from lacquered wood; the outside is covered in shades of pastel green with leaf and flower motifs. An image of a windmill and cherry blossoms is painted on the top; the image is encircled by three bands: the first is a thin line, the second is formed from a series of interlocking circles, and the third consists of a series of raised dots. The interior of the box is lined with dark yellow fabric. The box opens and closes with a gold hinge.
