Black and white photograph in sepia tone showing a team of white horses hitched to a wagon centered in the photo. The wagon is driven by one male who is dressed in a dark coloured suit, dark hat and is holding the reins in one hand and a whip in the other hand. The wagon is carrying approximately 25 others ranging from adult to young child in age. The wagon appears to be decorated in draped fabrics and some of the riders are waving flags, which look like the Union Flag, Ontario Flag and plain coloured flags. There are three men on horses surrounding the wagon, the man on the left is wearing a suit and top hat and is riding a shorter horse that is a mottled colour. There are two tall dark coloured horses located at the right of the photograph and rear of the wagon with male riders. Both male riders are wearing a suit jacket, collared shirt and boater style hats. The photograph is mounted to a card backing with an inscription on the reverse that reads, "James Stewart Team Winner at RICHMOND Fair - approx 1904 -5." Donor identified young female rider on bottom row and left most seated position as "Clissie" also known as Clystal Stewart.Context
