Description

One brown fur hat with three flaps and a rolled up brim at the back. The Fur is attached to felt and leather. The leather is dyed black. At the top is a dark brown string with a bow tie attached to the side flaps.

Context

Belonged to Clifford Switzer's father. Clifford wore it to help overcome infection, even in bed, in the 1950s.
