Colour photograph of an event celebrating Korean War Veterans and the awarding of the Ambassador for Peace Medal. The Ambassador for Peace Medal was first presented to veterans who returned to South Korea through the "Revisit Program." John Leroux of Stittsville was in attendance and is located in the third row, second from the end of the row (far right side). The image is composed of four rows of seated and standing individuals in formal dress. There are 47 people in the group photograph. In the background there is a large fabric sign stretched across the wall. At the top in red capital text says "WELCOME" and in royal blue coloured text below reads, "KOREAN WAR VETERANS."
