School Section No. 7 (S.S. #7), Ashton School. Ashton School was also S. S. # 12 Beckwith Township - it was a Union School. Originally a log building, it was replaced by a larger log building, which was replaced by a large white frame building just to the right of the original log structure. The white frame school burned in 1924 and was replaced by a brick schoolhouse in 1925.Photograph Details
