Description

A drawknife which is a woodworking hand tool used to shape wood by removing layers in the form of shavings. The tool consists of one central blade with a wooden handle on the left and right sides of the blade. The blade is longer (along the cutting edge) than it is wide. The tool is pulled or "drawn" against a wood surface toward the user.
