Insurance policy printed on a piece of rectangular paper. Titled "Windstorm Policy, Policy No. H.93578." Text below the title reads: "Mawanesa Mutual Insurance Company, Head Office Mawanesa, Manitoba, Canada. Eastern Office 341 Church Street, Toronto." The logo for Mawanesa Insurance appears in the centre of the text; the logo consists of a shield with a beaver at the top, and the initials "WMICo" below. The policy is registered to John. A. Brown of Richmond, Ontario, for the amount of $900.00 and a premium of $4.50. The policy is for the insurance of a barn, and is dated July 7th, at 12 o'clock noon, 1938. M.E. Mullan is listed as the issuing agent.
