Letter reads:
Dear Sir:
It is with great pleasure that we acknowledge your application for life insurance with The Dominion Life Assurance Company, and we take this opportunity to express to you our sincerest appreciation of the faith and confidence which you have placed in us. We can assure you that we are ready and willing to give you every service, attention and advice in insurance matters which you may need.
We would like you to look upon the representative who wrote this application for you as "your insurance man.'" If you are already carrying life insurance he is competent to advise you whether the policies you now have are the most suitable and economical for a person in your circumstances. If not he will tell you what to do about it. He can tell you about settlement options, and will at any time be willing to plan an insurance programme for you which will cover your requirements and take care of any eventualities which may arise.
It is the policyholders who make a life insurance company possible, and having this fact ever in mind, we consider it our duty to give continued service to every policyholder. We can assure you that, should you ever have need to put us to test, you will find us ready and willing to help you.
Yours very truly,
